Re: MQM leader Altaf Hussain: Live Broadcast from London on 2nd August 2011. GEO TV Sky 825 and ARY News Sky 806 and via telephone/mobile phone:

I am writing to bring your attention to the above mentioned matter. Altaf Hussain is a self exiled leader of MQM from Pakistan. He is been granted British Citizenship. He has been making speeches and inciting people for violence in Karachi resulted in deaths and destructions of thousands of people. He has on the record asked people to sell their jewellery, TV, Videos and buy weapons. More recently in a similar kind of provocative and inciting speech/statement on 2nd August 2011, he called on the people of Karachi to buy ‘one month ration’, which provoked panic keeping in view the violent history of MQM. British Foreign office Minister Alistair Burt issued a warning as a result of his provocative speech/statement. The News article a sister paper of GEO TV
http://www.thenews.com.pk/NewsDetail…ensible:-Altaf
Since 1992 Mr Hussain has been making provocative and inciting speeches by phone as well live TV broadcast. As a result of this phone and TV broadcasts I and my family get distress, worried and upset. He sends coded messages to the target killers via these broadcasts. According to reports, Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza, former and Home Minister of Sindh in his 25th, August 2011. Press Conference has said that the majority of ‘target killers’ are from MQM-A and have confessed that they received orders from London ie Altaf Hussain.

  1. I would like Ofcom to kindly investigate these GEO and ARY News channels as well as phone companies, in this regard.
  2. These TV channels should not allow to broadcast/report Mr.Hussain’s inciteing speeches and statement. The Telephone companies should also not allow him to address and incite his followers to attack and kill innocent people who do not agree with the policies of MQM Altaf Group. I hope to hear from you soon.

Yours truly,

Habib Jan

Zulfiqar Mirza resigns from Sindh Assembly, blasts MQM

Senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Sindh Senior Minister Dr Zulfiqar Ali Mirza on Sunday announced his resignation from his party post as vice president of PPP Sindh chapter as well as membership of the Sindh Assembly.

Addressing a crowded press conference at the Karachi Press Club, he expressed serious reservations on
the policy of government about the law and order situation in Karachi.

He said he would continue to work as an ordinary party worker. He harshly criticized Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik and termed him a compulsive liar and a threat to Pakistan’s security.

He said he had already told his party leadership that Malik could not be relied upon. He said that only one person is responsible for all killings in Karachi and that person is Rehman Malik.

Mirza leveled serious allegations on Muttahida Quami Movement and its chief Altaf Hussain. He termed the MQM and its head responsible for target killings in Karachi. He accused the Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad of patronizing target killers.

He revealed that the police department was highly corrupt and that police stations in Karachi are being auctioned to the highest bidders.

Zulfiqar Mirza alleged that during a meeting in London MQM chief Altaf Hussain had told him that America and world powers had decided to break up Pakistan and he (Altaf Hussain) had supported their idea.

He claimed that Altaf Hussain had demanded disbanding of ISI. He further alleged that MQM was patronizing killers and criminals. He also claimed that journalist Wali Khan Baber was also killed by the MQM.

He said he was sorry for his earlier comments for the people who had migrated from India. He said he respects Urdu speaking people and that many of his close relatives are also Urdu speaking.

He said that those people who want to breakup Pakistan are pitiful. He hoped that the Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry would summon him in the hearing of the case regarding Karachi target killings.

Zulfiqar Mirza said that he would remain a loyal worker of the PPP. He said if something happened to him those behind the Karachi killings and those behind the murder of Dr Imran Farooq would be responsible for it. He said that he would spend the rest of his life fighting for the rights of the oppressed people of Sindh.

Altaf Hussain of MQM wants Karachi “Independent State”

Altaf Hussain’s demand of international intervention as well as invitation to India now and 48 hours ultimatum issued earlier is clear indication that heavily armed MQM-Altaf is looking for an armed conflict with the state institutions. Approximately 6000 people have been killed in Karachi since this democratic government took over in the name ‘reconciliation with the killers and cons’ in February 2008.

MQM-Altaf terrorist and high value asset   Ajmal Pharee confessed to the JIT that: “he has received terrorist training in New Delhifrom five Indian Army officers. During this training he was informed about Altaf Hussain’s desire to separate Karachi from Pakistan.” Altaf Hussain has been calling ‘ Pakistan a blunder, asking India to give political asylum to him and his workers and recent wall chalking ‘separate Mohajir Province ’ is part of his designs. He is more than welcome to back to India and may as well do some work and claim his father’s a job at Agra Railway Station  on the basis of kinship.

Altaf Hussain is following the Indian policy of ‘keep Karachi bleeding’ in response to the indigenous struggle in Indian occupiedKashmir . Altaf Hussain’s MQM and his mafia have caused more economic and human losses to Pakistan by strikes and terrorist activities than three wars with India and war on terror. If MQM only allowed peace to prevail in Karachi Pakistan would have been far richer in economically and militarily.

The impression that Altaf Hussain a British Citizen long distance leader of MQM is one of many illegitimate children created by Pakistani intelligence agencies can not be disputed under any circumstances? Can we say that those agencies which created him have no control over him anymore?

If any one in GHQ and Pakistani establishment thinks he is a friend of Pakistan than they should update their notes. There is possibility that he might be blackmailing some people in the establishment with his secret recordings. What he probably does not know that how much his recordings are going to crop on the internet soon. This illegitimate child created is now become a ‘Frankenstein Monster’. He told MJ Akbar of Asian Age that, ‘I was not offered commission in the Pakistan Army because I was a Mohajir’.  More recently General Musharaf aka YK2 was a Mohajirs and no different than Altaf Hussain in harming Pakistan ’s national interests? They both live in London and cowardly enough can’t or won’t go to Pakistan .

According to a report by Naveed Miraj published in The Frontier Post states: Altaf Hussain’s MQM issued a memo to his workers saying, “If there was war between India and Pakistan , MQM workers will be remain neutral”. Why? The memo was issued during the 2002 tension between India and Pakistan . Though Altaf Hussain is not the only ‘dirty egg’ in the Indian basket but his affiliations and actions are more open and crude. Following the arrest and video confession of MQM-A terrorist Ajmal Pharee strengthened the notion that Altaf Hussian is following separatist agenda.

MQM and Altaf Hussain have close links with the Indian secret agency RAW as well as other players.  MQM- Altaf terrorist and Indian agent Ajmal Pharee confessed to the Joint Investigation Team of (ISI, IB, Military Intelligence, CID, Special Branch etc) that, “MQM-Altaf was behind the ‘Asura Bombings of 2009’ in Karachi. He confessed to the team that he and other MQM city workers were ordered to wear black Shia mourning clothes on the day in a meeting called three days before the Ashura bombings. The orders were to burn the shops and businesses in and around Light House as well as kill the people. The shop owners of that area refused to give extortion money to the MQM-Altaf. These burnings caused losses of billions to the poor Pakistanis and shop owners in Karachi ”.

Mustafa Kamal billionaire – poor former mayor of Karachi become abusive when London Post report published on 31st December 2009, was quoted that, ‘MQM was involved in Karachi bombings with black water’, in a live program by famous anchor Talat Hussain. Faces of the looters were visible on CCTVs footages still available on youtube.

This brave son of London “Edgware” sleeps in a multi million pound bunker with 24 hours CCTV cameras security and star trek type control room. He was preaching people of Karachi to sell their valuables and buy weapons and now he has asked them to do house shopping for a month’.  Why is he allowed to do these kinds of provocative speeches and live broadcasts from London ?  He has harmed Pakistan ’s economy and caused losses worth billions of dollars. Those who allowed him to do the harms are equal partners in his crimes whoever they are.

Ajmal Pharee also confessed murdering hundreds of innocent people as well as receiving training in India by Indian security agencies. In a video statement he said, “I joined MQM in 1988 arrested in 1989 for fire arms offences imprisoned for one year. He was arrested and sentenced for five years again in 2000 for murdering Iqbal Raad, lawyer of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He told the JIT that his handler Nadeem Nusrat is based in MQM – Altaf’s London Secretariat and is inner circle man of Altaf Hussain. Ajmal Pharee told the JIT that, ‘Nadeem Nusrat told him to escape from Pakistan to Singapore in 1996 with Zeshan a MQM worker’.  He stayed in the Mustafa Market Hotel on his instructions in Singapore , where he was given Singapore Airline tickets and Indian visas by Jamil aka Jimi who lives in South Africa . They travelled to Delhi, stayed there for 15 days and later received terrorist training for one month in a near by jungle  by five Indian army officers. He also met other MQM-Altaf workers Noora of Shah Faiasl Colony, Zafar Tension of Buffer Zone, Raju of Nazim-a-Bad, Shakir Chota of Orangi Town . He received terrorist training of AK-47, RPG, MP-5 LMG, hand grenades. He was transported to India-Pakistan border inserted in from Chawanda area of Shakr Gurh ( Sialkot ) in Pakistan . They later went to Lahore and than Karachi ”, said Ajmal Pharee in his confessions

Ajmal Pahari- Target Killer MQM             Target Killer Shahnawaz from MQM

On December 28, 2009, three thousand shops were burnt; one thousand were burnt after looting which caused loss of Rs. 60 billion to Pakistani economy. The question is why is he allowed to do this?

MQM is systematically using violence to pressurize PPPP, which had tried to prop up MQM’s rival Mohajir Qaumi Movement as counter weight in the political scenario but in vain. The weak and compromised PPPP government headed by Asif Zardari is probably now considering ending commissionary system in MQM dominated Karachi and Hyderabad .

Security agencies have informed the government that MQM had instructed it sector level organization to target ethnic Pashtuns in the city and Pashtun businesses are specially being hit, said the sources. According to a communication sent to the federal government inIslamabad on 24th July 2011, MQM- Altaf was stirring ethnic violence in Karachi and had planned to continue bloodbath until its demands are met.

Both political and military leadership have to make a decision either to protect their personal interests’ i.e. foreign bank accounts, properties abroad, green cards or Pakistan ’s national interests before it is too late for both of them.

Altaf Hussain exaggerates things beyond imagination. For example, he claimed his supporters in Karachi increased by 10 million in just two years because he claimed to have 20 million supporters in an interview with Edgware Times in November 1998. But in 2001 MQM claimed to have 30 million supporters when MQM send a fax to Reuters on 22 September 2001. “(MQM leader) Altaf Hussain has offered the unconditional support of over 30 million MQM supporters to the U.S. president and the international community,” its London-based international secretariat said in a statement faxed to Reuters on September 22, 2001”.

Impression is growing fast in Pakistan that British Government has been quite lenient to the activities of Altaf Husasain and harbouring a terrorist who is responsible for the death and destruction of thousands and caused losses to the Pakistani economy. He is a British citizen and living in London tax free and should not be allowed to play with the British values, democracy and freedom.

Probably for that very reason Alistair Burt British Foreign Office Minister telephoned Governor of Sindh province of Pakistan on 3rdAugust 2011.  Foreign Office Minister for South Asia, said:  “This morning I spoke to the Governor of Sindh Dr. Khan to expressed my concern at the continuing violence and loss of life that Karachi has faced in recent weeks.  I encouraged the Governor in his ongoing strong personal engagement to restore law and order.  I warned that inflammatory statements from any political party risked making the situation worse and that all political leaders and their parties have a duty to refrain from inciting violence and to reduce tensions and restore calm.  I reiterated the view of Her Majesty’s Government that the stability of Karachi is in the interests of all in Pakistan and the wider international community.  I said that peace and prosperity in Karachi was necessary to encourage further foreign direct investment which would be vital to Pakistan ’s future economic growth and stability.

“Our Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi , Francis Campbell, has met with representative of all main political parties in Karachi to encourage them to work towards stability in Karachi and the wider region.  I have asked my officials to reiterate these points directly with the leadership of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) and to discuss our concerns.”

Straggly enough until November 1998 Government of Pakistan was reportedly seeking extradition of Altaf Hussain who was said to be wanted in 50 murders and 150 cases of kidnapping and arson. The question is how come Altaf Hussain got the British Citizenship when HM Government refused UK Citizenship to billionaire Mohammad Al-Fayed on the grounds that he does not have ‘good moral character’ required to be British?

It is time to say enough is enough to this psychopath sitting in London who is suffering from Histrionic Personality Disorder according to a British mental health specialist. Following definition match his personality.

“Histrionic personality disorder (HPD) is defined by the American Psychiatric Association as a personality disordercharacterized by a pattern of excessive emotionality and attention-seeking, including an excessive need for approval and inappropriately seductive behavior, usually beginning in early adulthood. These individuals are lively, dramatic, vivacious, enthusiastic, and flirtatious. They may be inappropriately sexually provocative, express strong emotions with an impressionistic style, and be easily influenced by others. Associated features may include egocentrism, self-indulgence, continuous longing for appreciation, and persistent manipulative behavior to achieve their own needs …. HPD may affect a person’s social or romanticrelationships or their ability to cope with losses or failures.”

As far as dealing with the MQM terrorism is concerned an intelligence lead police operation is enough and there is no need to drag armed force into it. Surely Altaf Hussain wants to drag the army so he could go to UN and ask for peace keeping force in Karachi . He is exporting terrorism to Pakistan by making long provocative speeches from London it is the responsibility of British Government to issue gagging orders against him to save lives.

If Altaf Hussain is brave enough and wishes to do Pakistani politics he may as well go to Pakistan and do whatever he likes. British soil should be allowed to be use for harboring terrorists and exporting of terrorism to Pakistan ?

PPP to show flexibility on commissionary system to end violence

People gather at a burnt down hotel in Surjani area of Karachi. Many of Pashutn businesses have been targeted in recent violence.

The start-stop killings of both political workers and innocent people in Karachi have a strong connection with Peoples Party’s attempts to administrate Sindh province along different lines than the former president Musharraf had: restoration of commissionorates and proposed- upgradation of its Liyari stronghold to level of district in Karachi.

The bloodbath began as soon as PPP government restored the old administrative system and, sources say, could continue unless the government bows to Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s demand to reverse the step.

Sources says MQM is systematically using violence to pressurize PPP, which had tried to prop up MQM’s rival Mohajir Qaumi Movement as counter weight in the political scenario but in vain.

The PPP government is now considering ending commissionary system in MQM dominated Karachi and Hyderabad, leaving the rest of provincial administration intact, said the sources. It is also ready to roll-back plan on Liyari and would soon share the idea with MQM, they said.

Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies have informed the government that MQM, ANP and Liyari Gangesters are preparing to attack each other and that MQM was hatching conspiracy for ethnic violence in the city, according to sources.

MQM had instructed it sector level organization to target ethnic Pashtuns in the city and Pashtun businesses are specially being hit, said the sources.

A federal investigative agency, in a letter send on July 24, reported to central government that MQM was stirring ethnic violence in Karachi and had planned to continue bloodbath unless city government system is restored in the city, sources have told Ummat.

A 48-hours ultimatum issued by MQM to government on Karachi was clear indication of its motives to continue the violent-policy, noted the sources.

The party has asked a prominent leader in Sindh to persuade the government in favour of Musharraf era local bodies system and PPP agreed to show some flexibility, sources say

MQM is working at the behest of Britain & appealed Indian leaders to give Asylum

MQM Don(Altaf hussain) sitting in his office in London using his Sofa and a Telephone, asked the local and national leaders of the PPP and the Awami National Party (ANP) to invite Asfandyar Wali and Asif Ali Zardari to Karachi for ameliorating the situation.Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Altaf Hussain on Tuesday appealed Indian leaders to give asylum to Mohajir community of Sindh.
t was Altaf Hussain and MQM who issued a memo to his workers saying,” if there was war between Indian and Pakistan, MQM workers will be remain neutral”. Why Altaf Hussain did issue such treacherous instructions? Whose side is he on? He has already chosen to be a British Citizen

E-mail from an ex MQM member

“MQM is not a political party but a mafia led by Don of Edgeware Road, London. The syndicate is comprised of loafers and criminals and scums of Karachi and Hyderabad .
How do I know?
First let me tell you my background. I am a so-called Mohajir (Urdu speaking, don’t we all speak Urdu in the Land of Pure !). My grandfather in 1947 migrated toKarachi from Bihar , India . My father and I were born inKarachi .
During my college days, against my father’s admonishment, I got associated with MQM. I was young
and foolish. Also, anger played a role. I was angry for I was rejected by Pakistan Air Force despite of my high academic credential and clearing all exams and physicals. Then, I believed I was discriminated
because of my ethnic background. I could be wrong Nevertheless, I joined MQM for I thought that “Mohajir” needed their own constituency to fight for their national rights.
What a disillusionment! After seeing what I saw and experiencing what I experienced, a little over three years later I left Altaf “bhai” and MQM. And yes, I paid a dear price for “deserting” the party and publicly voicing its criminal activities. I was shot at and beaten black and blue. A point came where I had no choice but to leave the town and my family went into hiding. Rest assured, there are many “mohajir” who met the same fate as my family and I did, and then there are those unfortunates who paid the ultimate price for their conscientious awakening.
Briefly, it’s every bit true that extortion (bhatta) is the main mean of raising money for MQM’s activities and Altaf “bhai’s” expenses in London . It takes hundreds of thousands of pounds annually just to maintain the international secretariat and Altaf’s and his family’s living expenses in UK . Ask where the millions came from for Altaf’s wedding and valima in Karachi andLondon ? Prince Charles and Prince Aga Khan’s weddings were sure modest compared to the international extravaganza at the wedding and valima of the whimsical supreme of MQM.
Ask MQM where the money comes to support Altaf’s and his family’s lavish living in London . Altaf once belonged to the lower middle class. He used to ride an old and used motorcycle. And now Altaf and his family in London and Karachi , both places, live a life of luxury.
Surely, all this fund does not come thru voluntarily donations. Every small mohajir businessman inKarachi and Hyderabad , at one time or the other, has faced the MQM bhatta collecting goons. Needless to say what happens if one refuses to oblige.
Ironically, the “mohajir” who MQM claimed to help and rescue are its main victims of terror.
Altaf does not have the personality or character to lead his people and party in a positive way.
Take it from the one who was once somewhat close to the inner circle of the MQM (now remorse and repented), the group, for the greatest part, is a criminal organization. Apart from the euphoria of the initial years, the MQM’s election victory is a result of intimidation and whole scale rigging under the benevolence protection of government agencies.
MQM was General Zia’s brainchild and now General Musharraf’s constituency.
Ask MQM what the slogan, “jo quaid ka ghaddar hain woh maut ka haqdar hain” and “baett jaaoon ya lait jaaoon” (sit down or lie down, meaning, withdraw from election or go to grave) means? How many Quaid kay “ghaddar” became maut kay haqdaar? Were Tariq Azeem and Khalid bin Waleed quaid kay ghaddar?
Who is responsible for the murder of JournalistMohammad Salahuddin, Azim Ahmad Tariq, Salim Malik, KESC Chairman Malik Shahid Hamid, HakimMohammad Saeed and many more innocent men?
No less disturbing is Altaf’s hatred for Pakistan and Quaid-i-Azam. How many times he suggested that the making of Pakistan was a mistake and how often between the lines he said that Pakistan should rejoinIndia . Long live Pakistan,
it will remain on the world map till Qiyamat, Inshallah.
Granted, no political party in Pakistan is wholesome in its character. However, MQM both in its wholeness and in its working, is entirely a terror group and its leader a Mafia Don.
As a “mohajir”, I am ashamed of MQM and Altaf.”

Political groups to blame for Karachi unrest: HRCP

KARACHI — Eleven more people including a policeman were killed and more than a dozen others injured on Monday in Karachi after a Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) report blamed powerful political groups for breakdown of law and order in the city.

Orangi Town became the latest battleground on Monday when two armed groups exchanged fire which continued intermittently throughout the day leaving at least three people dead and several injured.

The HRCP in its report after completing a fact-finding mission in Karachi to ascertain the causes of the latest wave of violence in the city said that the city is in the grip of a multi-sided wave of insecurity-driven political, ethnic and sectarian polarisation that has greatly undermined its tradition of tolerance and good-neighbourliness.

“Though the land-grabbers and mafias have tried to exploit the breakdown of law and order, they do not appear to be the main directors of the violence; that distinction belongs to more powerful political groups and it is they who hold the key to peace,” the report said.

The report said that the problems inherent in Karachi’s urban growth and expansion, being an industrial and commercial mega city, have not been tackled properly by the present or the previous governments.

“Problems of unemployment, housing, transport, education, health, supply of water, electricity and gas need to be sorted out with the help of civil society’s pool of talent and knowledge”, the report added.

The report also pointed out that nearly all political parties agree that it was necessary for all to respect each other’s position and desist from attempts of capture political mileage through violence.

While conducting the survey the HRCP received complaints against law enforcement agencies ranging from dereliction of duty, abandonment of posts, long delays in responding to distress calls to downright collusion with criminals.

Mayhem in Karachi, bloodbath continues

Thirty four people have lost their lives in the ongoing wave of target killings in Karachi in last 24 hours, including five in overnight shooting incidents. MQM chief Altaf  Hussain has given a 48 hour notice to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani to stop bloodshed in Karachi.

Unidentified armed men attacked a factory in the Industrial Zone of Ahsanabad with more than 1500 factory workers trapped inside. Armed with sophisticated weapons, the men also torched more than 100 motorbikes in the parking zone of the factory, while firing constantly.

Police and Rangers reached the site almost an hour after the attack began and took another hour to regain control of the area.

Meanwhile, in separate incidents, four people were shot dead in Muhammadi Goth, New Karachi, Safora Goth and SITE area.

20 others have been killed in incidents of violence in Orangi Town, Surjani Town, Pak Colony, Landhi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Korangi and other areas.

Miscreants also damaged public property in Surjani, Pak Colony, Orangi and other areas. According to police, more then seven vehicles including a passenger bus were burnt.

Exhausted with continuous violence,  residents of Pak colony took to the streets to protest against target killings. Protesters torched tyres and chanted slogans against the violence.

MQM warns against ‘bid to take over Karachi’

As 28 people were killed in fresh violence in Karachi on Monday, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) accused some elements backed by the Sindh government of trying to take over its stronghold.

“We won’t let anybody take over Karachi,” MQM lawmaker Wasim Ahmed warned in the National Assembly on Monday, indicating that resurging political violence in the country’s financial hub was far from over.

Wasim said what was happening in Karachi should not be termed a turf war. Rather, it reflected attempts by a particular group who wanted to take the city hostage.

He, however, did not specify who within the Sindh government was backing these elements, although his party had in the past been accusing senior minister Zulfikar Mirza of ‘hatching conspiracies’ against them.

He spoke after MQM lawmakers staged a walkout from the lower house of parliament to protest over the government’s ‘indifference’ on violence in Karachi, followed by lawmakers of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Jamiat Ulama-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F).

“Nobody seems to be serious in bringing peace back to Karachi. Everyone wants to control the city with guns…but I tell you that this is not going to happen,” Wasim said, after Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani left the house, ignoring Ahmed’s remarks.

In Karachi, Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Hussain Wassan said that he knew what was happening in the provincial metropolis and would soon call a meeting to discuss the situation.

He was talking to media at MQM headquarters popularly known as ‘Nine-Zero’ where he came as part of his initiative to take all stakeholders into confidence.

“I will take a clear position as the home minister of Sindh,” he said. Expressing his resolve to restore peace in Karachi, Wassan said that action would be taken against “all mafias, land-grabbers and drug dealers”.

He said that after a long time he had contacted the MQM chief, who had assured him (Wassan) of his and party’s cooperation for peace in Karachi.

“I cannot forget his (Altaf Hussain’s) words…he said he is a son of Sindh and was willing to lay down his life for Sindh, would fight for the province’s rights.”

He said that rallies were “not enough to restore peace in the city…terrorists must realise that the government will take strict action if they did not desist”, the Sindh home minister said. He also assured MQM leaders that their reservations would be addressed.

Dr Sagheer Ahmed later told the media that the MQM was ready to support any drive for peace in the city.

He said that the Sindh home minister had been thoroughly briefed about “nexus between various terrorist groups, mafias and their modus operandi”.

“We appreciate the efforts made by the Sindh home minister and await implementation on his directives.”
